Pope offers durable components to help you customise your watering setup, including irrigation system stakes and irrigation system risers that support the positioning of sprinkler heads and small sprinklers within your garden.

What are irrigation system stakes and risers used for?

Irrigation system stakes and irrigation system risers are used to support and lift sprinkler heads and small sprinklers above garden foliage. This added height and extension helps improve spray direction and coverage across garden beds.

Which riser length should I choose?

Choose a riser length based on the height you need for your sprinklers and sprinkler heads:

  • 200mm for low plants and smaller garden beds
  • 300mm for general garden beds and shrubs
  • 450mm when you need extra extension above denser foliage for better irrigation coverage

How do the rigid risers connect to sprinklers and sprinkler heads?

Pope rigid risers with a 4mm adaptor are designed to be screwed directly into polyethylene tubing. You can then screw jets, sprays and spinners into the rigid riser to elevate your sprinkler outlet above plants for more effective watering.

What is the riser stake used for?

The 300mm riser stake is pushed into the soil to provide stable support for 4mm rigid risers. The riser snaps into place, helping keep sprinkler heads well positioned for consistent sprays and a neater end-to-end irrigation layout.

What does the Universal Hold Down Stake do?

The Universal Hold Down Stake is used to secure 13mm or 19mm poly tube so it does not lift or move. It is especially helpful at bends and curves where tubing can shift over time, helping keep your irrigation system stable from end to end.

Do I need pumps to use these stakes and risers?

No. Stakes and risers are positioning components - they add stability and extension so sprinklers can sit at the right height, but they do not require complex pumps. They are simply installed into your irrigation system layout to support even watering.
